Overview
This policy explains what Lumo.gold, operated by Kingswell Strategic Ventures, collects and how we use it. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
Account details: name, email, password (stored encrypted), and optionally phone, city and state.
Requests: what you describe when you ask for quotes, and your city, state and ZIP.
Dealer details: business information, offers, inventory and photos that dealers post.
Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser information, and approximate location from IP address, collected with cookies and Google Analytics.
How we share it
When you send a request, dealers in your state (or the dealer you chose) see your first name, city and description — not your email or phone.
When you accept a dealer’s offer, we share your name, email and phone with that dealer, and the dealer’s details with you. After that, the dealer’s own privacy practices apply to how they use it.
We use service providers for hosting, email and analytics, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect people’s safety or our rights.
How we use it
To run your account and requests, send you offers and alerts you asked for, keep the service secure, review dealers, and improve Lumo. We send service emails; we’ll only send marketing emails with your consent, and you can opt out anytime.
Your choices
You can update your details in your dashboard, delete price alerts, close requests, or ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@lumo.gold. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information; contact us and we’ll respond as the law requires.
Retention and security
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for legal, security and record-keeping purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children
Lumo is only for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors.
